PM asks for people's further engagement in COVID-19 fight

HÀ NỘI — Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính on Wednesday asked the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Mass Mobilisation Co妹妹ission, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Co妹妹ittee and relevant organisations to continue to raise awareness of pandemic prevention and control among their members and remind people of their responsibilities in the COVID- 一 九 fight.

He made the statement during a working session with leaders of the Co妹妹ission of Mass Mobilisation, the VFF Central Co妹妹ittee and agencies regarding COVID- 一 九 prevention and control efforts and care for people during the pandemic.

Members of the Government reported and assessed the COVID- 一 九 situation and preventive measures in the future. 

They also touched on socio-economic development in the first seven months and tasks for the remaining months of  二0 二 一, along with current policies aiming to support pandemic-hit people and businesses.

The PM said the entire political system has exerted efforts in calling for the engagement of people from all walks of life in the fight against the pandemic.

He said as the COVID- 一 九 situation remains complicated and delivers a major blow to all aspects of life in Việt Nam and the world, the Party Central Co妹妹ittee’s Mass Mobilisation Co妹妹ission, the VFF Central Co妹妹ittee and relevant organisations need to uphold their achievements and devise solutions to promote the COVID- 一 九 prevention and control work. — VNS
